Ok, so I'll start with the bad news, which I know is comparatively not thaaaat much compared to the good news, but I'm having a hard time feeling that way. My computer is caput. It just up and decided that it didn't want to turn on. I have some of my pics backed up but alllll my other information is on there. Why oh why did I not take the same advice that I give everyone to back it up? No excuse, just procrastination. Now I am just praying that Oliver is able to magic some of my files out of the hard drive. This comes at a really bad time as school is ending and my grading program is on that computer...I have my grades on a jumpdrive, but I can't do anything with them at home now which is not going to come in handy when I have to finalize grades in 2 weeks. This whole thing is also going to mean that we're going to need to get a new computer. I need one for work and while I am stealing Oliver's at the moment, his is on it's last leg too and not exactly what I need. I'm actually surprised his didn't bite the dust before mine did. It's much older. I guess maybe Dell makes better computers than HP.
Anyway, the good news is that I got my job back!! No more looking for jobs or freaking out about having to move. I heard a couple weeks ago, but I haven't signed a contract yet so I've been a little leary, but I got an e-mail from HR, through the principal saying that I was in, so I'm going to try and take that to mean that everything is all set. This is very exciting as I really didn't want to have to leave North. I also now am feeling happy again about going to Disney. We've paid off the trip and I can't wait to go! Spending a week with my love in one of the most fun places in the world is going to be great! So anyway, that's the news. Hopefully next time I'll be writing from my computer, but I'm not going to hold my breathe....
