The President comes to Nashua!

So today was probably one of the more exciting days of my life! President Obama came to Nashua North to speak about jobs and the budget. A group of teachers was picked out of a lottery to be on stage behind him, and I happened to be one of those teachers!! (As well as 2 of my fellow science gals). I have to say, I was freaking out the whole time because I have a huge phobia of being around large groups of people (wicked claustrophobic), but I made it through and I'm so glad I did. Once in a lifetime opportunity. Not only did I get to be on stage with him, but I got to shake his hand as well! I know, not incredibly exciting to everyone, but probably the only time something like this will ever happen to me. Unfortunately they under estimated the amount of seats in the place, so Oliver didn't get to come in, even though he had tickets. I felt bad about that, but he and our friend Chris at least got to see some on TV. Here are some picks from today.
