Max hates the camera

So Oliver and I were trying to take a "family" picture yesterday with ourselves and Max (yes I know I'm a dork, I consider my cat family, but hey, he's my only "kid"). Max wanted nothing to do with it. I don't know if it's just he doesn't want to sit still unless it's on his terms, or if he doesn't like the flash. So we have several nice pics of Oliver and I, but with Max in motion...Winter is finally here. Currently 34 degrees out. I think I may have said this before, but winter is not my favorite season...I love the first snow, absolutely love Christmas, but winter itself, not so much. I will be celebrating the day when we have a house and hopefully a garage so I no longer have to scrape frost or snow off my car at 6:30 in the morning. Thank God Oliver is a sweetheart and gets up with me to help, or else I'd be very cranky 1st block and my students would not appreciate. Speaking of students, classes are going better and worse at the same time. The disrespect issue has been getting better, but Thanksgiving break is right around the bend and the students are restless. I feel like I'm in a dentist's office pulling teeth, trying to get them to work lately. I'm hoping I make it to a day when I will actually have a "bag of tricks" to draw upon at times like this. My goal lately is to try and better my mood/attitude towards things. I have been very down lately due to school/weather change/medical issues and I can't get much worse. I'm so thankful to everyone who's been trying to keep up my spirits. Any suggestions are highly appreciated! Enough of that, enjoy some silly pics of our "child" :)
